THE THIRD happy flight yesterday was for Ivan’s student Allyson who made her first solo yesterday evening. Fourteen lessons, nineteen hours and she was Pilot in Command for the first time.

Looking at the video of the flight I see a fabulous circuit, a landing on the centreline, a tiny bounce (extremely competently dealt with) all done extremely well.
